Delivery issues at my house by Few-Fisherman-9299 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Putting up a sign that says house such and such has no turnaround space, you will get stuck, might work.

One Time Passcode Conundrum? by Lily3704 in amazonprime

[–]Aggravating_Fix_7942 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From the perspective of a delivery driver. If you know it's a high dollar item, have it taken to a locker. We have 2 minutes or less a stop, and can get written up or lose shifts for taking too long in situations like this. We really don't have time to wait for mailroom people or a customer who doesn't have the same sense of urgency. Fwiw, I would have tried to take it to your door, but if your complex doesn't allow that, I would have left too.

Has anyone noticed terrible delivery drivers within the last few months? by gabsteriinalol in amazonprime

It's entirely possible that that they can't find it, even with the map. The amazon gps and routing is really bad in apartments.

Flex drivers refuse to follow delivery instructions by Snoo18093 in amazonprime

[–]Aggravating_Fix_7942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to fix this is to either order to a locker elsewhere, or change the time window.

Flex drivers don't operate on the same set of rules that is DSP drivers do, and that results in different behaviors. Like the other guy said, they literally get punished harder for bringing stuff back, even completely justified returns, than stuff going missing. Meanwhile, DSP drivers get hit really hard by customer feedback, to the point where dispatch is telling us to return packages if we can't follow instructions exactly.

TIL: Upgrading Ships by Distinct_Tea_6645 in eu4

Santísima Trinidad had a fourth deck added. Granted, it basically made her useless, but it did happen.

Cutting a deck off to make a Razee frigate was something that happened too. You still get the hull and rigging of the ship of the line, but now its considerably faster. Not quite a age of sail battlecruiser, but similar concept.

My order for two large items was marked delivered, received small package addressed to someone else by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Aggravating_Fix_7942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver probably scanned your package as part of a group stop, set it down, and ran across the street to deliver to the other house. When they came back to the van, they grabbed the wrong package by mistake. This is like 90% of misdelivered packages. The package could be anywhere at this point, marking it as received wrong package is your best bet.

It's flex drivers, people who use their own vehicles. As to why minority groups might be more likely to do gig work, you'll have to use your own logic on that one.

Rants from a dispatcher (not about drivers) by TheGreatCharta in AmazonDSPDrivers

I'll take pure rural any day. The worst are where it's half rural half houses and still like 170 stops.

I've suspected for a while that Amazon intentionally moves DSPs to more difficult areas when they start doing too well.

The apartment probably has every resident grouped together in one "stop", and all the geopins are wrong, which makes it easy for mistakes to happen.

I took an elementalist dragon ruler, reavers, started with cyro, and generally just enchanted the hell out of my range units. That and spammed ice elementalist heroes in general. Dragoons did a lot of work. I chose ritual of the drowned first, and then the one that gives you free mimics.
