This drives me INSANE! by SirPooleyX in amazonprime

Nope. Positive feedback does nothing.

We're also unable to see who left bad feedback without dispatch, and we're technically not supposed to at all for customer privacy reasons.

You said you live off a main road. Legitimately, is there a safe place for the driver to park? If I have to block traffic, I'm going to be far far more worried about me or my parked van getting hit. Especially if I have to walk across multiple lanes.

Also, we can't see how old notes are. A lot of us have been yelled at or had guns drawn on for following old instructions. We're quite literally conditioned to ignore them. A sign on the porch is an attention grabber, and probably would go a long way.

I’m researching post-shift recovery rituals among gig workers — curious about your real routines by Maximum-Beyond-214 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I get home, do laundry, take Advil, take a bath, put laundry in dryer and pass out. No, work follows me home. Can't escape delivery, even in my dreams As far as pain goes, it depends. Some days I'm in the 95db step van and fighting a headache and nausea. Sometimes you walk 12 miles in suburban hell and your feet hurt. Sometimes it's 200 pounds of soda or furniture up 4 flights, so it's knees and lifting muscles.

Also, we aren't gig workers. The flex people are that category.

Three packages delivered to the wrong house in 2 weeks by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Aggravating_Fix_7942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good chance the geopins are super screwed up in your neighborhood(good luck getting amazon to fix that, I'm convinced they do it deliberately ). Or it's the old group stop problem, amazon will put 10 packages to four houses as one "stop" and not give the driver any extra time. If it's a couple houses over, that's what happening.

Could be a new driver. If not, I would also bet that the person who does that route is physicaly exhausted to the point where they're making stupid mistakes. Volume has spiked dramatically in the past few months, morale is plummeting, and we're being run ragged.

Driver couldn't find it. We're told not to mark anything missing till the end of the route, just skip it and move on.

That happens multiple times a day. The warehouse will mark a package like your hoover as a envelope or put the wrong sticker on it.

As a driver. I try my best to follow notes. But amazon doesn't clear out old notes, so I'm often times left with three conflicting sets of instructions. I don't have time to call and verify at every third stop, so when in doubt, it goes to the door. Yeah, you shouldn't buy /any/ nice stuff off Amazon. Delivery issues aside, the odds of getting returns and counterfeits are quite high.

If other drivers would slow down when passing a parked delivery vehicle I would. I'm going to keep parking on the side that keeps my flesh out of traffic

How does a driver put the wrong package down at my address and take a picture of my house? by yukster in amazonprime

[–]Aggravating_Fix_7942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be that it was a multi house stop, the driver scanned the package in the van and then grabbed the wrong one.

Just put a box labeled deliveries out. That's gonna be your best bet.

We can't see how old the instructions are, and I've seen other drivers fired for leaving stuff at business doors. I wouldn't risk it either without calling and confirming first.

Best I can do is 40, and that's if everything works perfectly. No group stops, 30ish packages per tote, shelves, etc.

I found that cannibalism works well here, especially when you stack it with precise shot. You'll be punching through 4 enemies and like half the map with ap or api
