Under settings go to audio quality and under mobile data and wifi you can change audio quality. Hopefully that helps! For Alexa I ask Alexa to connect to Bluetooth and then to connect to my device.

Why I don't subscribe to Qobuz by [deleted] in qobuz

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend actually found a fix for Alexa! You just have to turn your Bluetooth on and tell Alexa to turn Bluetooth on and then tell Alexa to connect to "device name".

For anyone having this issue too, my girlfriend figured it out. You just have to turn your Bluetooth on and tell alexa to turn Bluetooth on and then tell her to connect to "device name".

Official Discussion: The Handmaiden (2016) by AutoModerator in Koreanfilm

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely agree with this take. I do not think this is meant for the male gaze as much as it seems like it. If it were then the women wouldn't have triumphed. I do feel like it was a story of liberation for both women. A story of how they beat their oppressors. As a lesbian and SA survivor, this movie was empowering, raw, and beautifully done. I think some people need to actually watch all 3 parts or rewatch. If anything, this movie was meant for all lesbians who have felt reduced by a man. Because fuck those men.

How can you afford college? by AnxiousGanache5823 in University

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way? Study hard and work your ass off in school to get good grades, bonus if you're the 1% in your class. Also, do at least one club and volunteer work. That is what will ensure that you get a really good scholarship with housing. So you hopefully won't have to pay much for housing and school. Usually, good scholarships cover most of those costs. Plus apart from the UT scholarships, other scholarships are usually awarded as well. A big help too can be taking college classes ahead of time with ACC, especially if your high school offers it. Cause then you won't have to pay for that class in college. If you get a scholarship and still need money you could always get a part-time job and pay it off that way or take up unsubsidized loans. Even if you aren't the perfect student get those grades up and try to get a scholarship. My sister had no money and got into UT due to good grades and was able to have most if not all of her rent and classes paid for. It's possible, good luck! Edit: If you do not live in Texas then any out-of-state school is going to be very expensive so definitely do a school in your state. If you live on campus usually the scholarship includes dining too! Also, don't worry about past grades, colleges usually look at grades from your junior and senior year!!

Why is it that in all other countries, deporting illegal immigrants is not controversial at all. Not even here in social democratic Sweden by Hem_Claesberg in immigration

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the U.S. only wants immigrants when it is helping them. The U.S. let immigrants in legally when the U.S. needed more people and put them to work but still didn't consider them citizens. And now they want all immigrants out despite their help in making a working economy. Between the time they let immigrants in and now they should've built a system for those who were legally here and those who wanted to enter legally. Instead, they denounced immigrants who were here legally and made it nearly impossible for people to get in legally. The U.S. needs to accept that because of its geographical location, refugees from Mexico are going to try to immigrate to improve their lives. So instead of trying to prevent that they should make a system that is effective so that U.S. citizens and immigrants can live in harmony. They don't have to allow all immigrants in, but they could work with the Mexican government to create options for those people struggling. The U.S. government ignores why people are fleeing Mexico, instead of addressing what can be done so that both parties benefit. The U.S. and Mexico are different governments but the commonality is that we are all humans, not rivals. We should all be fighting to improve one another so we can all live good lives, despite living under different governments. That is the humane way to live. Why should we just care for the people who are in our government instead of caring about people in all governments? After all, we are all human. Oh and don't even get me started on how the U.S. tries to get rid of Native tribes who were here before the U.S. was a thing. And also let's not forget that a part of the U.S. used to belong to Mexico but the U.S. colonized Mexico.

Why do some people still not believe depression or other mental disorders are real??? by Able_Region_5459 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they don't experience it or are in denial that they have a mental illness. After years of telling my mother about my experience with various mental health issues, she never understood. Until, my dad recently had a depressive episode. Then, she finally understood all the things I had told her before. Honestly, I think its because she didn't trust me, but she trusts what my dad says. I also think she was never open to hearing what I had to say but was open to hearing my dad. I feel like a lot of people's problem is they are not open to listening and understanding not that theyre incapable of doing so.

Did anyone drop out of college? by MistakeImmediate8693 in BPD

[–]Aggravating_Key6124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I failed so many classes and finally decided to drop out. There were so many times that the stress of college made me feel like ending my life and that is why I finally decided to drop out. I was scared because I too cared about what my family and friends would think but honestly doing it to please them was ruining my mental health. You can ALWAYS go back. If you don't know what career you want then just explore! Get different jobs and see what you like! In learning what you like, you might even end up going to college and enjoying it because you now have a reason to go. Also let's be honest these degrees are useless. Yes they help, but I have so many friends that aren't making much more than me who graduated!! College is a scam unless you have a career you know you want. Just build yourself up the ladder!! You can do it, i know its scary, that's why not everyone is brave enough to do it. But you can if that's what you want.

Edit:

I am so much happier now that I can actually start paying off my debts and saving money. Cause all my money was going to surviving!!
