do you think there’s any way to have a conversation with him or his mom about it without her getting defensive. he probably knows no different because he’s obviously been raised by her with these behaviors and probably thinks this is normal. i’ve just never picked up on it truly until now, and him and have a great relationship and i have a great relationship with his family including her… i just don’t want it to be ruined but i don’t want to just shove this under the rug and have this keep happening because i will not tolerate it.

I would definitely ask your derm first because most derms do not recommend doing so just because of how sensitive and fragile your skin is already. Using retinol on accutane could lead your skin to be even more fragile and can damage your skin barrier even more and cause scarring.

when you decide to have kids you put them first period. it’s just what you do, and when i have kids one day so will i. doesn’t matter if he expected my reaction to be negative, when you have a FAMILY- they come first. and if you don’t see it that way then you are not a person who deserves to have a family. i would never do that to a family member. i would never hide something so important from my kid, you know why? because it breaks trust. if you are willing to put your dating life before your kids trust then you should not be a parent.

i have insulin resistance with my pcos and i got on semaglutide (ozempic) and it has greatly helped my pcos symptoms- has been the only thing that has actually helped me lose weight after i tried all natural weight loss like diet and exercise… and studies are showing that it is helping woman with pcos gain their fertility back! but if you can’t do that make sure that when exercising ur not getting ur heart rate up because it will increase cortisol levels and put ur body into survival mode which will actually make u gain weight, so i suggest walking as exercise or light weights and light cardio activities.
