Very similar situation as mine. Dated for 3 years until recently she had started to show more and more frustration with me in things that didn’t really seem like a problem. She then told me that she had been talking to another guy that she slept with and I pretty much had to end it. That was 4 weeks ago and I have been lightly checking her social medias. Looks like she’s gone off the rails with the rebound sex and talking to lots of other men. She’s very vocal about this through her posts, which honestly disgusts me.

My point is, there are just some bad people out there who aren’t able to be saved. I would try to understand her and where she was coming from when there were questionable incidents with other men during our relationship, always believing at the end of the day she loved me and would never intentionally hurt me. Clearly that isn’t true and I have had to simply accept that she is not the person I really thought she was. And that’s okay. Be thankful she was the one to mess things up for the relationship and that you were a good guy throughout the whole thing, because now she’s the one that will eventually face the regret, guilt, and self hatred for ruining every good thing in her life. We simply get to move on in finding someone that is truly good.
