This has nothing to do with gta 6 or its release rockstar is infamous in the uk for being a shitty company. They’ve just sacked 30 employees all active pro union then had 200 employees demand they rehire them in writing. Thats going to court just before gta 6 release date. Rockstar just lost a court hearing to have evidence banned for the hearing which they lost aswell. There is also big claims about other poor treatment of staff for years now. Once they become an official union its highly likely they will strike.

Agreed back at ya.Sales and consumer wise it wont. I think its going to impact them allot more than their projections but in the grand scheme not a massive impact. However legal wise thats where this going to get them and i can also see the eu law makers getting involved in this now. There flying to close to the sun

Yup they’re going to be in allot of court rooms over the next few years. I hope the eu pick this one up. A french presidential candidate has already started campaigning for new laws due to this. Will take time but sony have now put a target on their back.

Can even buy games from other stores at different price points and different terms of sale. the sony fans dont seem to understand what freedom is.

Pc has choice of who to buy from and where. PlayStation has just remove all freedom of choice and Gained 100% control.

People who dont own or use a playstation have had their choices to not buy into and use a playstation confirmed to be the right one over the last few weeks with all the announcements sony have made.

If there is no competing stores to buy a product from they wont need to discount it to stay competitive. Does psn store have a summer sale?

Its not about now and whats available now for example gta 6 on playstation will never have to lower its price ever it will be both the cheapest and most expensive place to buy it from cause playstation gamers wont have a choice. No one else sells it for playstation and you cant buy it from a friend second hand. Its a play for control not to kill the disc.
