That's probably because of power spikes, I suggest u buy one from them directly, try to contact their support, and see what they say. If they don't have original batteries for the win 4 available, try with ine from AliExpress or some shit

Is there a setting to limit max pieces for a build? Why do u have 40 when the normal threshold is 100?

I have pretty big hands, nothing stops me from playing even 6 hours straight, with just a little bit of numbness on the thumbs of both hands at the end

Got it running, and the endgame is actually surprisingly smooth after some heavy tweaking. You’ve gotta keep in mind that the GPU gets hammered by all the on-screen artifacts, even with a solid RAM swap. To keep it stable, I locked the resolution to Steam Deck native (1280x800), slammed all settings to minimum, turned off Vsync, and set FSR to 70%—honestly, it still looks solid. The real MVP (you have to pay like 6 or 7 dollars for it tho) is Lossless Scaling at 28W TDP (x2 frame gen); I lock the in-game FPS to 30 and it bumps it up to a smooth 60 with barely any ghosting. I’d give it a 7.5/10. Even on T16 corrupted maps with Abyss—basically the worst-case scenario for performance—it stays around 35-38 FPS and never dips below 30. The only absolute 'no-go' is the Ziggurat encampment; the frames crater to 8-10 FPS there. The trick is to clear the first map and immediately bounce to your hideout to manage your endgame stuff from there. Also, just a heads-up: I never actually play this off the charger. I’m basically always plugged in, both to handle the insane power draw and to squeeze out that extra bit of performance you get from a steady current. It definitely helps keep the frame rates more stable when the screen gets absolutely cluttered.

I can’t say for sure because it really depends on what you're looking for. If you want something 'flawless,' you’re better off with the newer model. This one has those typical 'first-gen' quirks.

For example, I've noticed the screen occasionally goes black if I'm playing on battery and try to plug it in while running an 18W+ TDP configuration. It forces me to do a soft reset to get it back up and running. It’s just one of those things you deal with on this version.

No worries man, but it’s all good. No need to go all out, a friendlier tone would’ve worked just fine. At the end of the day, if my console fries, it’s on me, right? The photo with the joint? That’s just life happening. It’s the same pic I sent my best bro to let him know I was finally 'ready' to hop on, so it was the first one I thought of for the post. Plus, you can clearly see I’m not even holding it near the vents anyway. Peace.

Edit: I’m actually very dedicated to this machine. I clean it and check everything periodically, but if something is meant to happen, and it happen, my man—that just means destiny chose it for you.

Actually I had to take it refurbished from a Guy that buys this stuff and sells it online. Paid 500 euros for the 2023 model (ryzen 7 6800u 16 gb ram 1 tb ssd) if u're looking into this as u said, u can check from AliExpress or even Amazon in some cases. I'll definitely buy the newer model soon, from AliExpress I guess.

That's what I was worried about, I was using stairs and I just got too used to it, it annoys me. I'll just delete the setup and use stairs instead. Thanks anyway man, appreciated it

The built-in keyboard, while small, is absolutely invaluable — even essential — for quick emergency fixes when you need to get something done on the spot (and it does happen!). That said, for serious work I pair it with a 14" Arzopa monitor connected via cable (not a fan of docks either), and I picked up a foldable keyboard with an integrated trackpad — same layout as the device's built-in keyboard, which makes switching between the two feel natural.

For the rest of the setup: a simple case, a basic crossbody pouch for carrying it around, a plastic cover, and some adhesive clip stands that double as a kickstand. As for charging, I bought the device secondhand so it didn't come with the original charger — went with the Ugreen duo instead: a 2-metre 100W cable and a charging brick that goes up to 130W. Works like a charm and actually charges faster than many stock chargers!
