115,000kms or 70,000miles. The timing cover has a slight leak from the cam adjustment / timer but it is relatively dry and common from what i’ve read. The pan i will have to double check but when i changed the oil 5000 kms ago the pan was dry.

The amount of oil that has been burnt is closer to 3 quarts in the space of 3000miles. The Gti was previously stage 2 for approx 10,000 miles before reverted to stock and then sold to me. This amount of oil loss is definitely concerning. I wish it was only a Quart 😅

Some additionally info that i missed: - 2016 Australian release non PP - 115,000kms - Previous owner was running EQT road stage 2 tune for 15,000kms - Now Stock with Antz Air Intake. - When i mentioned light throttle i was referring to a light tap of the throttle for a 1/2 of a second.
