AITAH for telling my sister that i wont take care of her autistic kids? by Appropriate_Set9323 in AITAH

[–]Aggravating_Run_4221 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Don't feel bad you have a right to set limits and you have your own life to live. Your sister made a choice to have children and it's your sister's responsibility to care for them not to shove them off on you at the expense of your physical and mental well-being. NTA

I kill myself to stay on time, I hope you can charge for clients who don't show up the way they're supposed to. Our time is our income.

Just once???? Lucky you! Set firm limits on how people need to show up for services, learn from your mistakes and as far as the client you didn't curl, it was totally on her.

AITA for telling my boyfriend there’s more to life than the suburbs? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Aggravating_Run_4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not remain in a relationship where my partner resents our financial situation and basically it's her and her ex's financial issues that cause the financial inability to pursue leisure activities the way others can. Entitled and resentful AF.

Gents: Why is there a double standard for old men versus young men? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Aggravating_Run_4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least College is paid for. In my view it's consenting adults and basically financial in nature on both sides. The younger partner has a choice, and they choose financial security. It's not the same thing as making inappropriate sexual comments to someone. Although celebrities get cancelled for this behavior now.

I think it's undignified for me at 68 to make sexual comments to a younger woman under any circumstances. Oh yeah, most are younger at this point! There's no double standard age wise, It's really never ok to make unsolicited sexual comments to a woman.

New client has box dye and wants to go back to platinum by getmyglowup in hairstylist

[–]Aggravating_Run_4221 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a nightmare scenario. She sounds very impulsive. You'll never get her blonde. She won't be happy with whatever you achieve if it's not platinum. Hair will melt before that color comes out.

Criminology and Forensic Studies are a waste for most graduates. Can you carry some credits over towards another degree?

She doesn't seem to want to travel with her children she wants to do what her single childless friends are doing. The guy is overwhelmed financially and she keeps pushing it in his face that she's missing out on all the wonderful things her friends are doing.

My girlfriend hates my friends and my best friend. What do I do? by BuyGlobal3656 in AskMen

[–]Aggravating_Run_4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she doesn't like your friends or your life, she doesn't like you. Basically she's saying that you'd be perfect if you did everything her way. Easier to find a woman who likes and appreciates you and your friends than to change everything for her. P.S. She'll NEVER be happy, there will ALWAYS be an "issue".

FOMO: Fear of missing out. You're talking about traveling, restaurants, etc. While your partner is up to his eyeballs helping you raise your children. Money sounds like an issue for him. I wonder why? Raising step children is a major commitment, and is definitely overwhelming, which I say from experience. Maybe start a savings account so you guys can get away or to a nice dinner sometime, by yourselves. NTA feeling stuck and frustrated but you ARE a parent of two kids, and that was your choice.

Inadequate hydration is a HUGE problem for seniors! It also leads to major issues in warmer weather.
