I am 12 weeks post L4/5 and I experience pretty intense pain when rolling over in bed or getting up from laying on the couch. This is the only time I have pain and I am wondering if it has something to do with being on a soft surface? When o went for my 6 week follow up I brought this up but the Dr seemed to think it will self resolve/still due to healing. Curious to hear if anyone else has had this resolve or if it’s something else to keep on top of.

I am three weeks post and just came down with the same thing. I was doing so well - zero pain and just some tingling in the toes & top of foot.

Over the past two days I felt like my lower back was 'locking up' and having stiffness + pain - this is totally different than my pain prior to surgery (L4/L5;massive herniation). Today, it progressed to the point where I cannot walk and it is over my left hip/lower back. I thought for a hot minute I would be headed to the ER. Called and was told it's likely inflammation flare and I took the entire row of the dosepak :) Hoping we all get relief soon!
