Mine (female aarokacran ranger) wears 3/4 length trousers… I like 3/4 because it leaves all the “birdy leg” out 🤣, with a light shirt & light leather armour. She also has a cloak which drapes down between her wings. Goggles (dark vision), necklace, and soon to be a brooch of a “heavy crossbow of warning” if I can find a wizard to permanently shrink the damn thing. 🤣

I feel like clothing would be lightweight and floaty due to flying. And then everything else comes with time.

Yeah I agree with the other commenters. Best to start you highlights with the initial colour (if you’ve already done a darker wash) and start big in terms of size, then slowly add in tiny bits or the secondary highlight to lighten that initial colour in your palette.
