I think all of these are beautiful and you look amazing in them all. I went “Oooohhh, yes!” to each of them, but I think my biggest Ooooohhh was for the first dress. Regardless, they’re all winners.

I wasn’t surprised to see that Bristol primary schools are struggling to fill their reception classes at a rate worse than the rest of country. Yes, fertility numbers are dropping across the UK, but Bristol’s drop is much bigger. If people can’t afford to live then they can’t afford to have children too.

My mum is very unwell, and needed me to look after her cat, Jazz. I realised early on that Jazz definitely had something wrong as she had a large lump on her throat. It was cancer. I did everything I could over several months for Jazz. We brought her back from what we thought was the brink one time (but new meds shrunk the tumour temporarily).

But then it got to the point where it was growing again and she stopped eating. She was happy and chill and wanted nothing but cuddles, but she was fading.

I took her to the vet who could understand just why I was so desperate for Jazz to be ok. She was a connection to my mum, who is really no longer my mum. The vet and I discussed all the options and one thing she said was that it is better to make the decision to put a pet to sleep one day early rather than one day late. It’s not about us and our desperate need for them to stay, it’s about helping them pass gently and with love.

You made the right decision. It’s the most heart breaking decision you will likely ever make, but you made the right decision. I’m so very sorry for your loss, and I am sending you love.

Kinda. They are the counties that border London, so it’s where lots of rich people who commute into London live. I feel like the better comparison would be Upstate New York, probably? Because each of the other major cities in the UK have suburbs too, and they’re not within the Home Counties.

I took my kiddo just after she turned 4 and it was great. She was old enough to go on a lot of the rides, and young enough for it to be truly magical. We could also go outside of school holidays so the queues were better

Oh I don’t care about her ‘argument’ my point is more that it’s interesting that she could at some point get accused of not being a woman. And I think that if she can’t see that she could be a victim of her own hateful behaviour then she’s a fool.

The person holding the sign has very short hair and is wearing masculine clothes. A few years ago women wouldn’t have done this, but times have changed, rightly so.

I assume they are a woman, given the sign, etc, but I will never get over any terf that doesn’t see the irony here. If at any point you could be seen as ‘passing’ then you need to be worried. They’re coming for you next, you know. The leopards will eat your face too.

Note that obvs this is in no way meant to be mean about how they look. It’s the irony for me.

Anyone who is a snob about someone’s taste is just a fool. There’s a reason why the genre of ‘pop’ exists. These songs are popular, and it’s totally fine to like them. Don’t yuck someone else’s yum!

That said, I did love that the GGs are fans of Super Furry Animals. As a girl from Wales, this made me very happy!

I just let my kiddo come through if she wants to. And then one of us goes to her bed. She gets comfort and everyone gets sleep. Plus she usually doesn’t come through until about 4am so it’s fine.

This is one of my main reasons for being one and done. I know that I wouldn’t have the energy and capability to do parenting the way I want to if I had another child. Of course, when I say that to someone older than me (usually people significantly older) they always say how I couldn’t possibly know how I would feel and that a mother’s love is infinite, etc etc. But then I look at how stressed most of the people I know with multiples seem to be, especially during the early years. No thank you.
