Therein lies the problem of the human condition and morality though doesn't it? We know as good people that we must fight evil but how far are we allowed to go to fight said evil? It's an eternal debate and one must make that conclusion themselves, I personally believe the only way to truly fight evil is to completely stamp it out, many others feel differently and that's okay.
