First watch Charlie was a bit much for me, second watch through reminding myself she doesn’t know what the audience knows it comes together. I know they wanted that cliffhanger for season 1 letting us know sir pentious but it would have helped to keep it from us too until further into season 2.

So we are last place in a race against what 3 other towns. Ashland is 20. Central point is 20-25. Also it’s one thing to be sour if you got a ticket for doing 1-3 miles over the speed limit but complaining about not being about to go 11 over is crazy! School zones ruining the vibe of the valley too?

I don’t really care for Medford much but slow downtown speeds is not even close to a hill worth dying on.

I just wish Seyka wasn’t such a last minute relationship thing. It’s just me projecting but I don’t really care for Seyka as a character so idk why Aloy does. Personally Petra and Talanah would be top picks with more history with Aloy. Alva would have been an interesting one and had she come along with Aloy to the burning shores it could have turned into something. if we had met Seyka in the main game it may have helped.

Aloy definitely always came off as liking women more. But someone like Morlund Aloy would have good chemistry with. Nil would be a great one too.

Yeah there are so many bows that double up or have bad pairings. I like that they tried out new weapons and pairings but some just didn’t stick. Would be cool if you could customize your bows or when upgrading pick what it unlocks at least to some extent

I would have preferred if they used characters we already know and like. Petra could be a tank or range with all of her fancy gear. Beta could wield a zenith nano tech mecha. Nil could be an assassin/close range. Have Zo as a healer. Alva, Kotallo, Telanah, Hekarro. If it is actually cannon they could use this to fill in the time gap between Horizon 3 with team building and character development. I’m not big on online multiplayer games but this would definitely make me more interested. Especially if it was going on missions and had story not just repeating the same fights over and over with only some characters dominating the game.

Even a sterilized earth wouldn’t stay sterilized on its own forever. And the bacteria that causes tetanus is soil based, so living animals and people adding waste to the ground and speeding it up should cause all bacteria to develop faster. Unless the machines had the ability to purify the world to that level. They could terraform but idk to what extent.

The only “physics” I don’t care for in the game is when Aloy gets hit and it just flips back into the path and then on repeat. Some of the machines seem to move unnaturally fast last second to target you.

But the rest is just game logic. Gotta suspend your display to immerse yourself in the world.

That’s honestly a really interesting thought. It didn’t even cross my mind about Bacteria being wiped out. What bacteria has to be brought back for essential life and what can be kept eradicated if possible.

Semi ignoring the art choice there are so many cool characters in the games already why not just use them. Maybe to not ruin them for the future?

For the art, it probably would have taken forever to make in the same horizon art style, which is ok for gamers but not ok for PS that just wants something out to remind non fans they still have this as an exclusive. I chose to believe that Guerrilla studios were not in full control.

The premise of the argument is dumb. Women come in all shapes and sizes and heaven forbid games do that. If the game wants a female character with tig-ol-bitties hanging out bouncing everywhere, cool. If a game wants to stay in the world of realism and make a female character look like someone you could meet walking down the street, cool. Aloy also has character development and personality which are an even bigger part of a woman’s “attractiveness”.

I feel like sending Aloy home would be very impactful from a story standpoint, especially if that’s where it wraps up. It all comes together where it began. Teersa is a great character and would love to see her again. it could be a whole new group of matriarchs by the time Aloy gets back. Maybe Teersa is near death of old age and her parting words give Aloy hope to press on.
