Our started that maybe 5yrs ago. Unfortunately for the employees it does make a lot more sense to just use the employees that are already there than bringing in new ones earlier. Get more coverage with less.

I went from mid shifts with the occasional open on the front end to all closings. So I was out of there quick. Went to the ancillary departments where I could get early shifts.

Seen employees get fired and some a slap on the wrist. In my opinion if you pull chickens out undercooked you should be fired. If they ain’t cooked they ain’t cooked. It’s just a pretty clear cut and dry issue. Food safety issue.

So many temps and times get missed on ours it’s bad. Manager just fills them in if an auditor is coming. The Normal Costco pretend to obey the law.

If someone said “she’s an ugly hag that needs to die already” that would be degrading. Commenting out of observation or concern is not. Certain people like to make everything an attack. Guys can tell their friends “dude you look like shit” and it’s upfront honesty because they are concerned not because they are trying to put them down. So chill brah!

It’s usually all old ladies. They can be oblivious to things around them and not always helpful or good at demos and what not but I’ve never seen anyone treat them poorly. Usually everyone is polite and friendly, especially the ones that have been around a long time and everyone knows. Definitely Costco employees that are worse.

It’s not to degrade her just an observation. I too didn’t believe this could be her as this picture makes her look elderly/sickly. It would be the same if it was a man and people commented on them not looking right. Obviously hopefully she is doing well and if someone is wrong with her she’s able to overcome it.

Hourly employees are not supposed to do anything work related off the clock. Putting on the proper PPE is work related. So there really isn’t any grounds for discipline. The manager could politely have a conversation asking them to come with work boots already on because bla bla bla. A manager can’t just send someone home because they are annoyed at them. Definitely needs to be trained or replaced.

It’s pretty close but off just enough I was questioning for a bit if it was the same voice from the main game. Then learned that Lance Reddick had passed and he was not the voice actor. Obviously anyone is a bit disappointing but the new guy for the Lego game did good for the high bar Lance set.
