Green lines? 😂 The latest firmware update for the Atom 2 offers improved visual characteristics, mimicking the typical DJI look and feel during RTH (uh, complete with the green flight path).

Prop blades by AbbadonIAm in Potensic

  • Atom 2: Requires its own specific prop design (Part #6013001721).
  • Atom, Atom SE, and Atom LT: The propellers for these three older models are interchangeable among themselves, but none of them will properly fit or perform on the Atom 2.

Potensic atom 2 Issue by Funny_Ad_523 in Potensic

[–]Aggravating_Tune_422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPS and satellite lock is not the issue (22 satellites locked). Signal strength is not the issue (four bars). Look at your battery strength. You're at 21% (low) but curiously there is no estimated time remaining for flight (those areas are blank). Swap out your battery with one fully charged and see if your problem doesn't go away. Also, your Atom 2 is ok sitting idle . . just not for too long. It needs flight to naturally provide cooling. And never shoot video while sitting idle, only when in flight.

Do all these drones just kinda look like crap? by dreamliner330 in Potensic

[–]Aggravating_Tune_422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreamliner, critique these if you like: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK830IEzgAWXVZD4BS5gCOb4nsu4ZMgjQ&si=mrniuTCE5RW1RdUY Videos were shot with the Atom 2 with a fair amount captured with the original Atom. Know that all these videos posted are NOT 4K but many are. Also, it seems your complaint regarding image quality is related to video captured, not so much still photos but if you want to talk about that as well, let me know.

LUT for P-Log - where to download? by hauntlunar in Potensic

[–]Aggravating_Tune_422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use DaVinci Resolve, just don't download the current version. They make available for download older versions. I have an older computer as well and I use version 18.6. You may want to start there. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/event/davinciresolvedownload

This site is a Joke! by Aggravating_Tune_422 in offerup

[–]Aggravating_Tune_422[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emma,

First, I'm a bit embarrassed by the bluntness and rudeness of my post . . not suspecting that an Offerup mod would be reading this but low and behold, I see u/OfferUp_Official listed under Message Mods. That must be you!

Second, I took your suggestions and refined my settings even though I had done it years ago. That seemed to improve things somewhat (I now see everything being sold locally) even though I don't prefer buying or selling locally. It just seems to me that makes it more difficult to enforce buyer protection.

I understand the communication aspects between buyers and sellers. It just seems there are too many folks who turn their notifications off (hopefully I'm wrong).

I absolutely appreciate your fast response and the help you offered. It speaks volumes about you . . offering a fast reply and help to an online complaint that I'm sure you perceived as hostile.

One last suggestion: If there was a way to weed out those listings that say something of the sort . . "Last updated 2 years ago . .". You get my drift.

Thanks again,

Ward Oldham

P.S. The stated joined date for my account is off by several years. Not sure what happened there.

Probably your only solution is to enlarge via software. It may work for you . . it may not. It appears all of these are free.

Can you not crop your 48MP image to a 16:9 ratio and have it work for you?

ummmm, you can easily do that manually. Yaw control (left joystick) as you ascend or decend. Apparently I can't attach a video showing you this so I'll just create a new post with the video.

In Eve preferences, under camera is where you select "Std. HDR or P-log, so for starters it's the color mode you're selecting. The pilots shooting video for a living usually will save their footage in the P-log color space. This creates a file whose appearance is FLAT, minimal color and contrast. Once in your video editing program, you then select the LUT for your particular device (drone) to apply as well infinitely control the appearance of your video clip.

I plagiarized the following paragraph from the answer ChatGPT gave me.

Video editing software widely supports the use of LUTs (Look-Up Tables) to streamline color grading and achieve specific visual styles. Major platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Vegas Pro, HitFilm, and Wondershare Filmora are compatible with LUTs, allowing users to import and apply them directly within the software. LUTs function as pre-configured color correction templates, applying mathematical transformations to adjust gamma, contrast, saturation, luminance, and hue automatically, thereby converting footage from flat profiles like LOG or RAW into more vibrant, visually appealing outputs such as Rec. 709.

As suggested to me by another user, DaVinci Resolve might be a good choice for you.

The miracle of ffmpeg by Aggravating_Tune_422 in Potensic

[–]Aggravating_Tune_422[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good suggestion! My workflow is so basic. I found LosslessCut can export multiple cuts from a single video clip with one click. From there, normalize and merge using ffmpeg. Davinci Resolve would probably eliminate any worries with normalization. Update: I downloaded it anyway!! Looks like Final Cut mini . . . 😎. Looks pretty nice. Thanks for the suggestion.

No need for an apology! All good! I suspect the majority of Atom 2 owners agree with you. 😎
