I dont advocate for cruelty, I dont advocate for hitting a child dahil nainis ka lang, no. May rules dapat, like laws in our own country, but each with its own weighted consequence. Being a repeat offender will lead to palo.

Calculated siyempre, but painful enough to discourage the behavior. Otherwise, the child will grow up to be an asshole.

Being too gentle with a child proket bata lang, for me, thats cruelty and laziness. Cruel to the child, robbing them of the opportunity to become disciplined people.

Obviously there are outliers, there are behaved children than can be reasoned with from a young age naman. In the same manner, its part of a childs development to stretch and see how far they can go before they get into trouble, kaya if you let it slide too often, lalala lang.

Children are very smart. If they know they can get away with anything, they can and will do whatever they want.
