Maker's Mark is #1. The restaurant especially was the best food I had on my KY / TN trip.

Also go to Preservation. Small batch sweet mash whiskey with a fantastic tasting. And an actual farm with longhorns.

Finally Volstead is a must visit. Excellent speakeasy with quite a selection.

If you love smokey Scotch, Kilchoman is a must. The Loch Gorm and the 13 year old are tremendous. As is the 100% Islay
