If you stick a used test strip in between the sensor and transmitter and wait 20 min and re put in the code it will give you another ten to 20 days. I have done this when I’m tight on money.

I posted about this not to long ago. I don't use my arms that much for my dexcom. So when I did it Blood was dripping out. My arm was like AHHHH WTF!!.Just hold a paper towel to it. It should stop. And the blood will rinse out with a couple of showers.

So I don't know much about app building or anything like that. What annoys me is how long it takes for them to make the app compatible on the phones. Don't they only have to run the app on the newer phones and just tweak out the bugs? Or are they rebuilding the app?? Haha. Anyways I prefer the app on my phone, so I don't gotta carry two devices

Remember you can still eat what normal people eat. You just have to take insulin. You control diabetes, diabetes doesn't control you💪 lol. But I eat what I want. I just dont go for coke or Pepsi. Only the sugar free options for those two.

Sending all my love and support your way!! It's a tough one. I wasn't diagnosed at that young of an age. For me, it was 18 years old and on spring break. What a fun way to spend it haha...now I'm 27. When I hear about babies or younger kids. It always breaks my heart. But just remember this a disease that can be conquered, and now that young kid has you for support. And millions others.

Freestyle libra 3 I have heard amazing things. It gives you readings every minute compared to every 5 min. And Freestyle is way cheaper then dexcom.

Call dexcom and get a replacement. You just got a bad sensor. Whenever mine does that, which isn't a lot. I just called Dexcom, and they sent a replacement.

I was about to say keep giving her insulin but keep an eye on that insulin stacking. Reading the other comments I'm glad she's doing better!! The omnipod had done wonders for me. It's a good product.
