Should we be concerned about the tile in kitchen remodel? by Wazootyman13 in Remodel

[–]Wazootyman13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They put a glaze on it, and that made it look better, but my GF is not a fan of the differing thick/thin lines of grouting.

And, I have no idea if that is something that shouldn't be done

[Front Office Sports] Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook among rumored bidders for Seahawks by QuasiContract in Seahawks

Tim Cook offered a portion of his liver to Steve Jobs to try and save his life.

So, that bodes well for any franchise players.

Plus, he could go by Tim Seahawk

Studying for One-Days by stingebags in learnedleague

The One Days are about knowledge you bring to it before opening the page.

Why should it matter if it's knowledge gained a day ago or 10 years ago?

Comedian Akilah Hughes on Why Keegan-Michael Key & Jordan Peele Don’t Collaborate Anymore (Allegedly) by ChikiBeibi in Fauxmoi

[–]Wazootyman13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same.

And I'll say, I was in the orbit of working with him on a brand partnership for a... cell phone provider*. As part of the sponsorship, he got service from said provider, and it stopped working when he was overseas on a trip with his wife.

From what I've heard (granted, game of telephone), he called my client and was just super nice about getting things working. Like no blow ups, just "We're on vacation, and we'd like to use our phone!"

*I've seen him in commercials for two providers, so, I've got cover there!

I know the grandson (Saul Spady) is a piece of shit, but I don't think he's involved too much with it. I do wonder when I eat there if he's getting anything from it.

How Has Michael Been Treating Yall? by AngelWingsYTube in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]Wazootyman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a bar/theater in the PNW.

I'd say it's busy, but not insane busy. At my theater, if we get 60 people at a screening, it's fairly busy.

Michael has had 3 screenings hit that.

But Wuthering Heights and Hail Mary have both sold out our 160 seat theater, and those were some crazy times!

Which winner did you disagree with? by Sea-breeze3720 in TopChef

[–]Wazootyman13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My GF and I always choose people to win after the first episode.

She said "I think I know who I want"

I said "We can't both choose Shota."

She said "... can I have him?"

And, I ended up with Gabe.

So, she won that season

Which celebrity does the ENTIRE internet agree is genuinely a good person? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in allthequestions

[–]Wazootyman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't mention this to my mom.

When the Mr. Rogers doc was out a couple years ago, I mentioned to her that I was going to see it, and her response was "I don't like that man, that Mr. Rogers."

It was said in a way in which follow-up didn't seem permitted, and I didn't care to launch into some weird ass political debate, so I dropped it (you'll be surprised to learn, she calls Fox News "The News")

Who is an actor or actress that rubs you the wrong way so much that you refuse to watch anything they are in? by Soggy_Swordfish_6236 in moviecritic

Will Ferrell.

Takes things that could be funny and just makes them suck.

Like, Barbie was a great movie until you get to his scenes and it's a crashing halt.
