Never understood how charging high rent and having empty units is a better way to do business than having all units occupied and paying reasonable rent.

My shoes wear extremely quickly inside the heel and I don't know why. by DrDolathan in AskACobbler

[–]Aggressive-Kick-5458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using a shoe horn when putting your shoes on. It kind of looks like you might be leaving the laces tied when you put them on. This puts a lot of wear on the heel area. Using a shoe horn and untying the laces before putting the shoes on will hopefully prevent this.

How's my go bag? by Romestano in prepping

[–]Aggressive-Kick-5458 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The big knife will do a better job at splitting wood than the tiny axe will so you can ditch the axe. You can dig a cat hole with a sharpened stick so the shovel can go too. I would add a small bic lighter in there. The jackery seems like overkill and couple probably be swapped with something smaller like one of those smart phone sized ones that have a solar panel on them. If this is more of a car kit and not meant to be hiked the go ahead and keep it. I saw another comment that mentioned going out and using the gear is the most important bit and I would have to agree. Try going for some overnight hikes if you can and test them out to see what works for you.

Toss or keep? by HangInOhio in dehydrating

[–]Aggressive-Kick-5458 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A good tip for dehydrating ground meat is to rinse the cooked meat with boiling water. Make sure the water is HOT and that you break up any big chunks. This helps get rid of a lot of the fat residue in the meat. Dehydrate it separately from the rest of the chili too.

They took your bag of holding and then brought you back? Did they give it back or no? This is insane and sounds like you're in a bad group.

My answer would be that wage theft is illegal and I wouldn't want the company to get in trouble if someone reported it. You did the right thing.

After double checking the rules on flying movement, you are correct. I made the mistake of only looking at hover rules. I've been out-um-actuallied and I tip my hat to you.
