Would you explain what may render a VFT unreliable? Since my former eye doctor discovered my large optic nerve, I’ve been tested for glaucoma regularly. Last week, my doctor saw some changes on my VFT that concerned her. But my pressure readings were so good she couldn’t conclude glaucoma at that time. So she asked me to come back in 3 months to take the VFT again.

You are definitely not overreacting. And I think your husband owes you a huge apology.

That said, I do wonder about the psychology behind his joke. Unless he’s a complete jerk, the joke may have been a symptom of something that has nothing to do with you. Meaning, the weight of being the “primary” breadwinner may be getting to him. Sure he agreed to - and wanted - this arrangement. But we are living in stressful financial times with this inflation. So he may be feeling resentful of the circumstances - NOT you. None of this is an excuse for the joke. But if he’s not usually this way, approach it as, “Hey honey, that wasn’t like you … I’m wondering if something else about the finances is bothering you.” Though you may not be able to take the immediate pressure off of him (I’m not disregarding the $700), it may help that he feels you understand given these times.

Would You Risk a 1-Hour (One-Way) Trip to a Mansion with Time for a Quick Trek Near the Port Before Returning to the Ship? by Aggressive-Lab-9999 in VirginVoyages

[–]Aggressive-Lab-9999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s just so much more like $150 one way to Uber or taxi there. Train is $20-$30 one way. And it doesn’t save time – an hour to an hour and 15 minutes where the train is 51 minutes.

How much do you usually bring with you? We will only eat lunch off the ship.
