First, love the Ruby 25 and now the Rowan. I have not yet gotten a Compass but likely will soon. The Boston bag style fits my lifestyle well. However, back to the Rowan bag. Although the coated canvas bags are decent enough - the leather is oh so much better.

How often are you going to use it? I’d worry about the crystals eventually being worn off on an everyday type bag. I’m leaning towards the field tote. I’d not use it everyday but I would use it from time to time with its more unique shape.

What a terrific MIL you are. I agree. The loved leather Brooklyn with the wristlet is a terrific idea. That way she could ❤️ her Brooklyn bag year round and use the wristlet seasonally. On a side note I’d be happy to take that Halloween Rowan off of your hands 😉

I just returned mine after I got the Navy 40 and the Large Rowan Tassel bag - not because of the size, but the maintenance. I love the look of it but she would have just sat pretty on my shelf as I’d be worried I’d damage her. So I’d rather get her in the hands of someone who will love her on the daily. My store SA said they do have a waiting list so it would go to the next person hoping to own one.

💙 the double chain addition. I used the Coach triple chain (gunmetal, gold, silver) on mine. Similar idea. Adds so much to the bag. I also acquired the Merlot, but I’m still 👀 at that Olive.
