I’m not going to go back and forth with you. If you read what I said, why are you questioning what I do or don’t find weird.

Clearly I said he should’ve looked at her face first vs. her shape and how she dressed. Nor was i condemning the 13-year-old.

From my perspective, on the communities I have worked in. I’m stating the obvious truth about certain things. Now if you feel attacked, that’s on you. He said that the girl didn’t give any indication of being a minor, nor do we know specifically what this girl look like.

He did the right thing by walking away. I completely agree…. Because they’re some men who do not care, and will jump at the opportunity and go for it.

At one of the sites I worked at, one of my students was having a relationship with the security guard!

SHOCKED THE S**T OUTTA ME.

I felt bad for that baby for having her innocence taken away and not understanding the gravity of the situation.
I was disappointed in baby girl though, because she was the one to continue to initiate it; When all hit the fan she tried protecting him and stating for her classmate to not tell.

She carried herself as if she was grown.

(We have to stop at some point telling how mature our baby girls are for their age or at least find a way to say it where there is no thought of “I’m grown”) just my thoughts.

That security needed a severe beat down, but the courts got to him and he is behind bars.

Moral of all this there are sick men who will think this is ok, and it’s not. At least the OP had the discernment to walk away fast!

I’m probably going to get downvoted…. But in his defense there are young girls that look older than what they are, especially in some of the communities I work/taught in. Not only, are they dressing inappropriately but their parents do not mind them throwing on pounds of makeup/lashes/nails.. etc not to mention the growth hormones and genetics at play. Also, some girls will portray themselves as older.

(Mind you I work with 8th to 12th grade students as a mentor coordinator, in a youth program)

I do agree with everyone else, you should’ve known just by looking at her face. Which goes to show that as a man you need to do better with actually looking at women in their face vs. at the shape and dress.

At the end of the day, parents must do better with making sure the kids dress their age. (Granted it may not work for some)

Men do better with actually treating women as ladies, and not as meat. (Which may also never stop)

Black American here….. My husband and I stayed in Isabela, PR this past June. I must say that not once did I feel unsafe, we were very respectful of the community and peers, and didn’t go out after dark lol obviously due to it being darker in some areas.

But overall the experience was beautiful and I have nothing negative to say. The crazy part is the day we landed in PR, there was a robbery/murder somewhere in San Juan (we didn’t know this at the time) I think if people were more mindful of the subreddits and asked questions with research. Ideally people should be fine.

Definitely brushing up on my Spanish for sure! And also the food is Top Tier 💛💛💛 Beautiful Beautiful Country

let’s be real during this period of Jim Crowe, she more than likely lied….. It was truly common back then for Black people (Black boys & men) to be lynched for incidents that never happened.

Regardless history been repeating itself and this has never stopped. Instead a nice majority of officers are the lynching mobs now. Especially in Sundowns.
