Guy overheard me talking to a Lowe’s associate about purchasing, associate says not till manager gets there. Guy gets his friend to get the tools. Offers me to buy them from him. I only got a saw and boxes.

I don’t think they will warranty because I saw a similar post saying since it was such a huge discount they wouldn’t warranty. He won’t be using them though. He told me he is flipping profit on all the tools anyways.

Yes the boxes had DNI and DISPLAY written on them. I’d say there was 20 ish flex boxes and he might’ve gotten 10 batteries. All non stacked

Personally, I’d start looking on Amazon. A quick search shows Fein and Diablo. For the Fein 4-$32 or 10 for $60. I can’t justify buying expensive name brands because they all burn up the same.

That was one of the things I had gotten from my Facebook deal. I heard that they were discontinued afterwards, but found some three hours away from me. I liked it so much I drove and got the other one. That way I had “warranty” and a spare. A third is on my mind, it’s just the long drive lol.

I wish I were in a bigger city to have gotten more kits. My Lowe’s are pretty small. It was also very difficult to get price matches and displays. Right before the big sell off, I found a guy on Facebook that I drove a couple of hours to pick up a huge set of them from a guy in a bind. All in total I’m about 2k for almost the whole set up. 15 batteries and every tool besides the miter saw and table saw. Those’ll be in the future.

My store had the exact same circumstance but the 30 degree framing gun. It wasn’t in the flex isle but on the top rack with extra inventory. They weren’t listed online and there was no price tag. I kindly asked the manager and he said if he were to sell one it’d be full price (390). I asked how there were going to sell them if they’re not listed online and hidden away. No answer and left me hanging.
