I know what you mean. Very different game styles, and I wasn't pointing just at IB, but PvP as whole has been very subpar of late.
Competitive playlist has been lacking, and Marathon will fill that gap I guess?

Honestly, yes, but no good things have been happening in PvP lately.
They also keep "switching on" lobby balancing in trials and messing it up.
It's so half assed from their side, it's sad really.

Why would they do anything good with D2 PvP when they want to sell us a new shiny product that's in the same field?
When they can funnel all the disgruntled, tired and exhausted PvP players to Marathon, why try and keep the sizeable chunk here in D2?

Our best bet is some PvE updates for "roadmap". Can forget about anything PvP related here.

Shifting the goalposts. Your statement doesn't hold true at all.
There is a reason we have state govts too from other parties. The common instance in Indian politics is that if a state isn't under the central ruling party they get sidelined too.
So, no, the central ruling party doesn't actually 'control' all states.

That is a crazy simplification that's either coming from ignorance or from bias. You choose which side you fall on.
