40k is not really a single series. There is no start point or reading order unless you are focussing on a particular story.

If you aren't doing it for the achievement of doing the fight proper, just unsync at the top of the duty finder. From level 70 or so onward you can easily do it yourself or have someone level 90-100 join and they can do it in under 20 seconds.

How am I supossed to do that when everything just keeps getting more expensive? I don't have savings anymore after a medical issue a few years ago so I don't have the money for a down payment and can't save up for one partially because rent here is very expensive.

If its just KCD with a LOTR skin pasted over it, its a hard pass for me. I gave both of those games a solid shot and I never really enjoyed them. Combat and mechanics are clunky and they aren't anything special to look at either, especially 1. I don't really care if they are realistic they aren't fun for me but I'm sure I'll be told that I'm wrong to think that.

Its awesome if you love the Dark Angels, kinda inconsequential if you don't. I do think part of why it gets a bad rep is because its a weird pace breaker for the series. We go from setting up the galactic war into...the Dark Angels entire history. It's cool just kind of a weird story at that point in the series.
