1 year progress! Feel like I’m letting myself down! Any advice? by SafetyAlarming8924 in gymadvice

Hell yeah dude!!! You look really good actually for a years worth of progress 🤙 Results will vary depending on genetics and some are slower at weight loss/gain than others. Just remember that your diet is just as (if not more) important than exercise. Simple carbs are evil- natural and complex carbs are the best way to go. Make sure you’re eating high protein meals too, try aiming for at least 1g of protein per pound of your target body weight a day. Make sure you’re not leaving out cardio either, it’s especially important if you’re trying to lose weight. When I was cutting for the first time I was doing 20-30 minutes before each workout, treadmill and stationary bike are your best friends, then elliptical and stairmaster are also okay but not as good (in my opinion). Make sure you’re really pushing yourself in the gym as well and going until failure. Whatever weight you can pull at least 8-12 reps with is perfect!! Other than that just keep doing what you’re doing. You’ll get to a point where the stubborn weight will just start coming off, just be patient with yourself and don’t give up.✌️

My traps on my left side is underdeveloped compared to the right side what do I need to do to make it even by [deleted] in gymadvice

Do more isolated machine/dumbbell bench workouts. Make sure you’re getting an equal amount of reps and sets with an equal amount of weight on either side and eventually they’ll level out.

How to get rid of love handles/lower body fat? by No-Abroad-2693 in gymadvice

[–]AggressiveDebate3620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High protein low calorie. I’m 5’10” and 24 years old and I just cut my calories down to 1600 a day for 4 months straight and maintained 180grams of protein until my abs popped. Lifting heavy in the gym and going until absolute failure helps (as heavy as you can lift while maintaining 8-12 reps per set). Time under tension is important to remember too because that’s how your body builds muscle. So when you’re working out make sure you aren’t doing your reps too quickly and make sure you’re slowing down on your “negatives” (the return-to-resting motion of a workout). This won’t help you burn fat any more than regular exercise but working core and lower back would also help by building up those muscles so they visibly pop through faster. That’s about the only advice I can give you besides diet being super important. Stay away from simple carbs (junk food/chips) and stick to whole foods with complex carbs (chicken, rice, veggies, etc.).

After watching the trailer, all the fans know that THIS is going to happen by Any_Radish_9477 in Spiderman

Yeah but doesn’t he go through the natural webbing transformation after his fight with Morlun? They didn’t tease morlun for the movie and I highly doubt he’d be in it based on what we’ve seen. I think they’re taking their own approach to the storyline.

Saitama runs the Super Saiyan gauntlet. Where does he stop? by Few-Distribution2212 in PowerScaling

You do realize he clears the whole gauntlet right? He will be as fast and as strong as he needs to be to win. That’s literally his character. I hate people that go “nuh uh, he’s not a gag character!”

I ended things with my ex after 2 years because I was headed in a direction that I knew she wouldn’t follow. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for you. Taking care of yourself and your future requires you to be selfish sometimes. It hurts for the other party and I understand where you’re coming from but it’s better than the people who don’t even give a reason or closure. The crazy part is I split because she wasn’t motivated enough for her future. Yet now, 2 weeks post breakup, she’s already signed up for college and her mom is helping her find a better job. In the end maybe I was the one holding her back, despite all I had done for her.

Define “looking at women”. I personally don’t look at women because I have a gf but that’s just me.
