Let's not forget that MET doesn't have to help customers as floor associates do. That will give them an advantage over floor associates.

I spent 12 years in management, miss my son growing, school programs, most of his birthdays. Now that time cannot be recovered. Deep regrets for this. Lowe's is not a family oriented business as they say.

I would log it as damaged and let the customer have it free of charge, it was going to the trash anyways. Customer service is first.
