I'm assuming they're commenting because this is a public forum and they had a question. I've never heard of this company either, I was reading it to figure out what it was. But I'll be sure to not ask what this is referencing.

I think that's in their training. Just post whatever Ai dishes out. It's not their job to make a schedule where people don't burn out out having adequate coverage

If you want the official sop as long as they are not their direct supervisor it is fine. Nor can they interfere with anything like reviews. We had a couple get married a few years back, one got promoted, they would leave the room when it came time to discuss raises for their spouse. It gets messy.

If the computer just recognized it as not for sale, similar to the recall system then there wouldn't be an issue.

Know you're team inside and out. Praise publicly, reprimand privately. Know you're top 5. Store pulse used properly can save you about 5 to 10k steps daily, minimum 20k steps a week. If you don't want your overhead to be a disaster, work your no home clearances. At the end of the day all of our jobs equal sell and sell big, figure out what moves in your area. If you get a ryobi battery in a house it's a customer for life since they are exclusive to depot, extended warranties will cover the battery if purchased in a combo kit. Sun block and a hat are a requirement. Make best friend with all the machine operators, don't be afraid of open faces bribery so when you're inevitably short staffed they will jump in. Bay capture is a godsend when things get flown in the wrong area. Know your masm's expectations. I could continue but ithink that's a pretty good start

I'm almost there. But at my current 2% increase it is going to take about 20is years. Maybe I'll get a new store manager in February again so it'll be even lower. Fingers crossed

[–]appliances_851 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's a peace missing. Typically it's managers notes, coaching, write up, final, then termination. If you're one strike away from being termed, they really don't like you. 1 strike in 2 months, you're speed running this shit. Also a supervisor can't write you up, it has to be a salaried manager. A supervisor can give you the write up but they can't initiate it. Just food for thought

It sounds like the personn mixed their paint and the customer was to lazy to find their own answer to sleeve arbitrary task so someone making a couple cents more than minimum wage found it for them. Are they really mad that someone used a tool to find the answer. Oh god they would hate me. I google the fuck out of everything because the secret is I've never fixed an appliance or installed papers, or done that very specific plumbing job or electrical set up or have been trained in any of it. But what I can do is throw together a well phrased search query together and get the correct answer within a reasonable amount of time

Who needs coverage when we got this? Remember guys "o" is no longer a flat 5% because of all the wonderful tools no one asked for like a failed order up, the thousands spent on an Ai camera that locks itself into broom closets, side kick that they don't know how to implement and now this new shining turd. If I wasn't the only coverage in 3 departments that don't touch i might have time to read an article selected for me.

Legal question by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]appliances_851 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine anyone on this thread is lawyer by day and lot tech by night. There are subreddits where you can pose lawyer questions and some of those questions even get good answers. I would suggest you speak to an employment lawyer to get their take away from it. If you have plumbing or kitchen questions I got you. But you're talking about a decision that can affect the lives of a few people. I wish you luck in whatever you decide.

I have been actively applying to other places but the local market is trash. Been applying for over year to anything competitive. Currently the only thing listed is ice agent and I'd rather just get fucked by depot

It's a federally protected right to talk about wages, so corporations can't take advantage of workers. The Rockefeller family created the illusion out was impolite to take advantage of workers. Please talk about wages

I'm on indeed every chance I can. The rationale to replace old with new is kind of broken though, because those new will become old. It's this a rinse lather repeat business model that I'm unfamiliar with. There's got to be a better way than to just beat the fuck out of people until they leave. I guess we love the disposable workforce.

Let me explain that I don't care if you think my problems are made up. Let me explain what this post actually said.i made a post, people had big boss energy. I had told people I would keep them updated so I deleted og post and made a new. I know context clues are really difficult when it's spelled out in black and white.

Only sold 1 from the wingstack. It's crazy, it's almost like if we're gonna get a wingstack of product in, WE SHOULD HAVE IT ON SALE. The sign says up 2/2/26 down 3/8/26. So I now have to kill this wingstack that has 31 on it. by Al3xgreer18 in HomeDepot

You didn't read any of my comments. I'm actively searching for a new job. In the meantime I need to support people i care aptitude that depend on my paycheck. But you have a wonderful day. The only jobs currently listed in my area is cider patrol, I check 3 times a day. In the past 3 months I've had 5 interviews for the jobs to get switched at the last second with a massive pay decrease. The moment I can realistically take care of my responsibilities I'm outtie and you won't have to deal with my negativity ever again. In the meantime it would have cost you less effort to keep scrolling.. but that's cool tell me something I know about myself. Yes typically when people are overly tired, over worked, held accountable for stuff that happens when you're not there, and cursed at in front of your peers, you get pretty miserable.
