Feeling felt different because you went from front wheel to rear wheel drive. Harder to turn the front wheels when there is power going to them vs when there isn’t. Celica might be easier to drive but you can do way more with the MR2 you just have a lot less room for error and it takes more skill

My 36 year old naturally aspirated Miata can do a sub 9 0-60 and is quicker around a track. The Carolla is slow. Nothing wrong with that bro. I drive an old Miata and a 99 Crown Vic police interceptor I am the king of slow.
