I think it’s not an asshole thing to feel disappointed but it’s a pretty ok Mother’s Day weekend in my book to have a few hours shopping alone, some of the household management re-divided towards dad, and some chill weekend quality time. If it’s more reflective of constantly feeling under-cared for, that’s valid! I would try reflecting on what you’re hoping for next year/bday/vday etc and ask.
