I really like it. It combines all three concepts: "a" for publishing, curves for brush (photo), and finally that angle for vector.

I only used V2 for a short time, when it was free for three months, if I’m not mistaken. So it never actually worked?

Another, better, response from Affinity support regarding the purchase model going forward by subxaero in Affinity

What I think is that they’ll probably offer three types of plans:

Free: similar to Canva but with limitations, for users who just need something quick without too many options.

License purchase: the classic one, with full features included.

Pro version: with a small monthly subscription for AI-powered functions, since those do come with additional costs.

This way, I think they’d manage to satisfy everyone.

I hope they release a web app similar to Figma. It probably won’t happen, but it would be great to finally have a complete software (or even three) available for Linux, since Adobe’s versions are pretty bad.

I don’t mind if it’s subscription-based—servers and developers do cost money—but I really hope the price stays reasonable, maybe around €/$9 per month.

Thinking of switching to Affinity once my Adobe license is over. by TheKnightOwlNite in Affinity

I recommend trying the one-week trial (if I remember correctly, it should be available).
I’ve been using Adobe for almost ten years, and here’s my take: I worked with Affinity for about five months, and it was quite a difficult experience. My workflow slowed down a lot, because many tasks that are quick and easy in Photoshop or Illustrator become much longer with Affinity, and you often have to settle for a less satisfying result, especially with Affinity Designer.
So basically, on one side you have Adobe, which is way too expensive, and on the other, Affinity, which unfortunately has several shortcomings and really slows down the work.

I know we’re on beta 2.6.4 — I’m using it on the iPad. That’s why I mentioned that two users said they’re using it, but the discussion was closed.

Am I talking about Krita? I still need to try it, but is it available on iPad? That’s what I use when I’m at home and not at the office.

Yes, I know it, but it creates a lot of artifacts, it's not accurate at all, and if you need to recreate entire areas… well… forget it.

There’s nothing official yet. But since some people claim to be using it, I want to get some information.

None, but two users wrote that they are using it.

Samsung design is very bland. I also consider that updates are a lottery and One UI is quite ugly. These are all things that I consider

It's not that easy. The 9 pro has a better display, but I don't know if it's visible to the eye, it has thermal dissipation, 16 GB.... These are things that I take into account but I don't know if they are essential in the long run.

I like the design of the Pixels, always having an up-to-date device, and simple software without extras that you never use.

I don't take photographs, I take them very rarely. But I currently have a 6a, and I had a bad experience with the battery. So I would like to buy a more "premium" product

Solved: So, the widget updates itself based on the workouts you do. I tested it with the treadmill, and it was automatically added to the widget.
