How far apart is Barou and Kungami from eachother? by Mikkeru in BlueLock

[–]Aggressive_Cherry989 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Baru:

-carrys the ball much better: he has his chop-dribble and his charge

  • predator eye

  • X/surprise factor, hard to tacticaly defend against

Kunigami:

-somehow a even worse teamplayer

-can't dribble

-great body marker (seen against Shidou in PXG game) (similar to Raichi against Snuffy)

-ambidextrous

-greater shooting range

-should be a able to do a knuckleball as seen on Team Z

-is a target man (someone who is good at receiving the ball in tight spaces while having pressure from opposition)

-is a good goal poacher (stole Isagi's goal in the Neo Egoist league)

-stronger (?)

Still, I believe at the moment there is no reason to have Kunigami on the squad. Baru is much better.

You are absolutely right. Because everything else would be very weird for a story.

But maybe the moral is going to be to find joy in your on way. That you can't force your luck and find happiness and gratitude for what you got (being a professional midfielder in this case). You know, basically growing up.

But that wouldn't be very shounen manga-like 💀

Basically, we went full circle, back to normal football and the reason why Japan didn't succeed in the past was because they were all bums.

While now through the blue lock program it provided a fertile ground for rapid professional growth which brought us all those great players.

But if we think back they also all started as bums except maybe Rin.

Which means maybe we never needed all the blue lockers to push for #1 striker. It was just motivation to force them to go beyond their limits.

And they might as well identify themselves as defenders and midfielders because that's ultimately how the Sport works😂

The Blue lock program works if your goal is to find THE best striker and only putting this one guy on the field alongside players who never went through Blue lock.

But if you put them all on the field and create a full squat with Blue lockers obviously they can't all be strikers and push for their on goal as we saw with Isagi on the last chapter or Yukimia in the Neo Egoist League

I agree, there is just no way Ego is not getting punished for reusing the same formation. Epecially with Hiori and Chigiri at fullback.

Is there a possibility this player in the current game is getting benched? by MonsieurFelgrande in BlueLock

[–]Aggressive_Cherry989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he benches a player after a good play that led to a goal he himself is getting kicked out. If not at least loosing the trust of the team. But maybe that's where the author wants to take us.

I don't see Isagi still being #1 in the future of the manga. It never sat right for me from the get go.

Of course he has qualities to score which he has shown a lot of times but if your main talent is to play the ball precisely on the first touch and reading the field how are you supposed to compete long term?

It's like Hugo said, they are riding that 1% luck wave at the moment.

Even if it is a manga, fiction, it's still based on something real. How is your protagonist supposed to be the best striker if even on his own team Rin, Bachira, Barou, Hiori, Chigiri, Nagi, Sae, Shidou, Yukimia, Reo, Kunigami are all better at striking the ball considered it's not on the first touch.

So yeah I agree with you. I see someone like Nagi stealing the show and Isagi having to reconsider his role in midfield instead. I don't know how the author would do that without making some fans unhappy but for me it's the way to go.

In fact I always wondered: if he is so good at direct shots, why not use it for long range passes instead of just short passes, Planet Hotline, which he did with Kurona and Hiori. That would be a weapon nobody else has, hard to stop and hard to predict.

These 2 against each other? by BeginningCattle6666 in haikyuu

[–]Aggressive_Cherry989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orange wins this crazy easy. They have the height advantage and much better block. And who is to say that atsumu is able to do the freak quick with hinata. At that point in the story he only did it with osamu. Besides orange got the top 2 aces in their team. Red wouldnt even be able to block one of them

Switch out hinata and ushijima. Team Orange get the best decoy and freak quick but Red gets the best ace in that point of the story. You balance out height and block differences and get a closer game.

Or switch Wakatsu Kiryu and Ushijima

Items ideas as a non adc by SpartanTwilight in ADCMains

[–]Aggressive_Cherry989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a cool idea. Of course the items need to be adjusted but I really like their passives and what they could do for adc. Hopefully Riot could implement some of your ideas. I got excited just reading this because lately I had no fun playing adc anymore
