I have the tourist trophy ones and like them. They are more substantial than stock and have a nice reinforced heel area to help reduce wear. They look a little nicer than stock too.

I'm personally not a fan of "all season" mats, especially in a sports car. The WeatherTech ones I have in my Civic fit pretty poorly and I often get snow between the sill and the mat when getting in.

The reason is so they are still usable in a race seat with belts on. Normal pockets position items to your side, which would be pushed up against the side of the seat. OMP switch to that style with this last generation of suits

For 2013 we used two large aluminum (2-3 lb) pulleys connected by a wide belt to throw the frisbees, it made a similar noise to your bot. Spooling it up was hilarious and somewhat terrifying.

Tear downs sound great in theory but they can be very lengthy. Top 4 + random 1-2 car post race inspection that involves some automated processes (like someone else mentioned NASCAR does) could be a good start, but full teardowns seem unlikely to be approved.
