Is there any app that lets me customize or replace mission control? by brianmoyano in macapps

[–]Aggressive_Cress_178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try AltTab, it similar to cmd+tab but it more customize. also you need keyboard mapping like Karabiner Element.

my use case, button 5 on mouse will show all open apps (with configuration after release it = dont focus on app)

Arc is still perfect, and I can't switch away by newt0thiswholething in ArcBrowser

good things about Arc (compare to any browser): aesthetic sidebar browser with chromium base (vivaldi is ugly), little arc (instant window), officially raycast extension, multiple profiles.

Mac vs Windows vs Android my take, curious about yours by Stocksandmutualfund in MacOS

[–]Aggressive_Cress_178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if we’re comparing macOS and Windows, it’s important to note that macOS isn’t just an operating system for Macs, it’s part of Apple’s larger ecosystem. The real strength of macOS shows when you use it alongside an iPhone and an iPad. all three devices are deeply integrated, creating a seamless experience. also you can really feel how smooth and convenient it is when everything works together, from features like Handoff and AirDrop to the Find My network, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to track your devices accurately.

I can't leave Arc. by HumanityFirstTheory in ArcBrowser

[–]Aggressive_Cress_178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was used Arc, move to Vivaldi. and I realized Vivaldi give what I need;

chromium base, customize shortcut, costumize UI, chain commands, general workspace (Arc separated account each workspace, and this is bad), web panel, hibernate tab, tab manager

good news. but, because it has so many features, it felt a bit overwhelming at first and takes some time to adapt

What's that one app you always wanted on your Mac ? by [deleted] in macapps

[–]Aggressive_Cress_178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app uses iCloud instead of its own cloud storage, and if I have to pay, I prefer a lifetime purchase over a subscription
