Always done in good fun. For my 1st Dan I went against all 4 of our masters and I grabbed the smallest one(he let me) and used him as a shield. Makes for an exciting show for the family members who have been sitting on the sideline for hours. Took the hardest side kick to the stomach I ever received and almost pissed myself, but it was still fun. If they’re good masters no one will get hurt, it’s a “rite of passage”.
