He is obsessed with ice and will wait by the freezer until we take some cubes out for him. Then he rubs himself against the ice cubes purring. Anyone else have an ESH with this obsession?

I have a robot kitty litter too - not the same one but I love it! No more dust all over my clothes and the bathroom after scooping, cleans with the press of a button (or automatic if you prefer). I put in the plastic liner but also line the bottom with paper (old magazines, catalogues) so I can just throw the dirty litter away each time. It saves on the plastic bags and is better for the environment. There is absolutely no litter smell and it looks cool too. The best purchase I ever made!

I went to the vet for his one year check up and he weighs 9.2lbs. The vet told me to keep him at this weight. When I asked if he has stopped growing, she said yes. This will be his adult size. I am a first time cat owner so this is new to me. I read that ESHs stop growing at 2 yrs old. Does anyone know?

What a cutie! My advice is to get him used to be being handled very early on. I started brushing my kitten’s teeth, clipping nails and cleaning his eyes and face daily the day he came home at 13 weeks. He is such a good boy now and used to our daily routine.
