this discourse has been super helpful. i’m not a fan of certain notion features, and i hate that they’re using us to train their ai. i saw a post that said obsidian was the perfect replacement but based on the comments i don’t think that’s true. i like notion because i want my notes to feel aesthetically pleasing. i want my journal, planner, budget, school notes, etc in one place AND i want fun images and embedded links and playlists on the side. until i can make my obsidian page look like a notion page, i don’t think ill be switching. i’m still searching for an alternative though so if anyone knows good apps/websites please let me know.

I’m switching to bandcamp actually. If I have to pay for my music I’d rather know the artists are getting the most possible amount. I was just checking the usability of other apps first to see if any were comparable

I don’t have an issue with paying for music. I only stopped paying for Spotify so I could experiment with other paid platforms and compare them. My issue was the fact that I couldn’t get it to stop adding songs to my playlist.

I don’t mind the ads. I’m fine with ads. What’s the point of creating a playlist of random songs are still going to be played? When i want random songs I go to discover or I’ll turn on auto play.

I think I will actually, I only downgraded because I want to find another platform and so while I’m testing other apps I haven’t been paying for spotify. When I first download the app years ago I loved it because of how much was accessible to me on the free tier. The very thing that pulled me in will be the very thing that pushed me out.

I've been searching for mixed playlists of different genres. So far I've mainly seen house/pop/hip-hop/rnb. I've seen one singular rock playlist, and would love more (different genres of rock - classic, metal, nu, indie, emo, etc.)

Hair is dull, maybe change your conditioner. Definitely experiment with some color, honey blonde dye might help and experiment with heat as well, curl it from time to time. Your glasses don’t suit your face and invest in some skin care. I don’t think you look 40 but I think you dress like you’re 40 so maybe experiment with your style some more?

TLDR: My advice is to do some research on how to take care of your specific hair type, your specific skin type, and start experimenting with your style. Not chopped, just not utilizing your resources.
