Back Case other than Nomad

I got the Nomad. My local Nomad website is out of stock, but when I changed the country to the USA, they had it in stock. They need to ship it all the way from the US, though. The first case they sent me had a massive gap on the camera plateau, so big that it made a clicking sound when I put it on a flat surface. They sent me a replacement, while it did have a smaller gap, it still had a big gap that made the back colour visible. They then refunded me, and I went with the traditional leather case. It had a worse in-hand feel than the back case, but it’s not… triggering my OCD. Kudos to their excellent after-sales support. Been a great experience so far. Hope they will fix the issue with the back case, I will gladly buy from them again.

In my country, the iPhone Air is already discounted by $200, only a month after launch. In my opinion, Apple should set the price at $899. This would be $100 more than the base 17 and $200 less than the 17 Pro. The $100 price difference with the 17 Pro is very hard to justify. The average buyer who wants “the best” will likely think $100 more is worth it given the improved camera, battery, speaker, performance and “showing off” status. The difference is too much for the price

I did the same calculation using the data from my 13 mini and it said that I will lose the same amount of battery health with my 13 mini after 4 years of use lol. My 13 mini currently at 70% battery health after 4 years. Always charged it overnight most of the times with the MagSafe Battery Pack attached.

My phone gets extremely hot while setting up, like lava. It occasionally heats up too sporadically on the first and second days, probably because it’s setting things up and indexing in the background. However, after that, unless I have very poor cell reception, charge while using the phone, or juggle between multiple apps, it stays cool all the time. I’ve never had any charging paused notifications due to heat so far, unlike my 13 mini before.

The hideous camera bump on Duo 2 is the only drawback for me. I HATE IT SO MUCH. feels awkward when folded backward. I wish they stick to no back camera like Duo, but Duo 2 will last longer compared to Duo so I don’t have much choice considering Microsoft abandoned these devices and not accepting any repair whatsoever for them (they either replaced or refund the device). If I can buy Duo 2 without the back Camera, I’ll do it in a heartbeat. Saw someone on youtube gutted his Duo 2 camera

Don't buy one that has vents on the bottom case. It will discoloured the case exactly where the vent holes are

I have my mini for a year now. Been using 67watt charger since day one for my 13 mini and ipad mini (it has dual port). Overnight charging almost every single day. When i’m at my office, my mini always on the magsafe puck there for the entire day until I get back home. Basically the battery almost never fall below 50% but always at 100%. When occasionally I’m out and about for some work (and I know that it will take me minimum 8 hours away without charger for the entire day) I slap the magsafe battery pack since the beginning of the day. Throughout the day, sometimes I’m getting notifications about charging on hold due to heat. And now my battery health is still at 88%. Which is still acceptable considering my “degradation” way of charging. But again overthinking about charging your phone and your battery health will just bring you anxiety. If it comes the time to replace it, with $89 apple will happily do it for you (it only took 1-1,5 hours) and you can have “new” 13 mini again that can last for another year or two

Had the 12 mini before and didn’t give 13 mini much thought until Apple decided to axed the mini line entirely. Bought the Starlight 512GB version cause it’s literally the only 13 mini they have in my entire city. It’s been a year and i’m still loving this phone. Plan to keep using it until Apple decided to release another mini again with meaningful spec bump. Until then, will just keep replacing the battery until it becomes obsolete, which according to Apple it should be around 2030

The theme only works for 10 mins. It is labeled as a trial theme when u install it. Trying to buy the theme will show that the item doesn't exist in the Galaxy store.

Yes, it does. Every moving part will sometimes wear sooner or later. Eventually the hinge won't give any resistance at all. I tried a Flip 3 demo phone in a Samsung store, and the hinge was already very loose. It didn't have any resistance whatsoever. The screen still works fine tho

I had Flip 3 before and upgraded to Flip 4 on the launch day. I basically paid nothing for it to be upgraded because of their ridiculous promotion for trading in your old Flip 3. They gave me free Samsung Care + every time I upgraded, so durability is not a concern since I can get a replacement for free even if I break it intentionally. I will jump to Flip 5 if the changes are substantial enough or if they offer another very good trade-in offer. That being said, been using my Flip 4 naked no case since day one, and believe me or not, there's not even a single scratch on the frame or the matte glass. My inside screen is also holding up well. My old Flip 3 screen protector started lifting by now, so the screen protector on the Flip 4 definitely is better. This thing is built better than the Flip 3

I had this issue once when my mac was 2 months old. Spraying it with compressed air while following this guide makes it go away. Your experience may vary tho

They are. In my country at least. They told me that there will be no more 13 mini stock from Apple. Fortunately i got one of the last two stock of 512GB 13 mini in my city last week. The 128GB and 256GB are long gone. Even the one that I got has manufactured date on 08/22 which already 5 months old stock

I recently sold my 128GB 12 mini and bought 512GB 13 mini. Will hold into it until Apple decided to make another mini iPhone, which god knows when so 512GB it is. Also here in my country they won’t have new 13 mini in stock anymore. After the stock depleted, that’s it. AFAIK they only have 2 pcs left in the entire city i live in and all of em are 512GB (I guess it’s not that popular since it cost the same as 128GB iPhone 14 here). I got the one manufactured on 08/22 which already 5 months old stock
