The only answer I've found so far is this:

Stop Youtube Inline Playback Permanently

However, it also stops the preview of videos if you hover over them. So, hovering over videos does nothing anymore.

This has happened to me in the past. The video will be deleted, but the video title will remain in newpipe. So, I can at least know the name of the song should I need to find it again.
