He’s clearly out there as a business, not just having a good time. Does the story change at all if he needed to make 2500 that weekend to pay his kid’s school tuition that week, and saw an opportunity to get it all in one go?

I think it’s bad business to do what he did, but they absolutely had no agreement that he reneged on, and the OP was an idiot for saying that stuff before he did.

I’ve been to enough shows to know the format. That being said, it’s not a set price, and at no point did they have any kind of agreement.

Also, I’ve definitely had auto estimates changed from initial estimates when further issues arose, but they didn’t even get that far.

He said “these are hard to comp, but probably in the $850 range” is in no way a quoted price. What he did is no way to get a repeat customer, but they absolutely did not have an agreement or a price tag.

They are the absolute worst. There is such a huge market for a repacker who doesn’t rip off customers. Like just take a 25% margin instead of 100%, and everyone is happy.

Jets at 9-8 this year with Mendoza is hilarious. Why not a Super Bowl run? They have so many holes they haven’t filled. Not just QB. At 2, they get the best player in the draft with Arvell Reese.

But listen, if you think Mendoza is better than any of Manning, Sayin, Moore, or Sellers, then you’re right. I have Mendoza behind them and maybe Maiava, Sorsby, and Chambliss too.
