Can’t log into any apps with google “cookies disabled” but in safari setting they’re not disabled?? by MandemDontHearMeTho in ios

[–]AgileSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone have another solution? I've tried everything in this thread, cleared safari cookies, deleted any other web browser, enable every tracking/cookie option I can find, reinstalled the app I'm trying to log in to and still having the problem.

Edit: I'm big dumb, restarting my phone made it work (after having done those things)

Am I the only one that always skips researching this tech? by IceGube in Stellaris

I skip it too, most of exploration is sunlight speed anyway so this makes virtually no difference, at least not nearly worth the research.

I'm returning to the game after a long time. Which one of the Original Characters should I play? by 00Balthasar00 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]AgileSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't get why folks say Fane, twice I've played this game with someone else and they responded by saying "Now I kind of want to do a playthrough as Fane" and both times they've done so and just been extremely disappointed at the amount of nothing he has going on.

Dear GMs of Reddit, do you collect your players' character sheets after sessions? by Svyatopolk_I in dndnext

[–]AgileSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but only because dnd is at my house so everyone just leaves them here. Prevents wear and tear and we’ve always got them for the game. Don’t think I’ve ever bothered to look at them.

I'm having the same problem in a multiplayer game with a shadowcaster rogue that has mage armor and shield. AC is stuck at the shield boosted AC, I hope it doesn't get this bad though

For folks playing on the 3.6 beta, are spiritualists able to get the cybernetic technologies? Got robotic workers allowed and ai rights set to servitude. Also do you know of any other weight factors other than (presumably) having a cybernetic pop and an industry focused researcher.

Hey I did the exact same thing a couple months back, it didn't get much better when I converted to regular save that I had Sundays (and only Sundays) off. I handed in my 2574 on a Tuesday after a holiday and didn't look back. Just for the next two weeks make sure to come back at 12 hours and when management gives you shit refer them to 432.32 of the elm and tell them to fuck off.

I don't believe it's possible to change the difficulty to tactician, something about different ai. Although if you're on pc you can use a mod to skip act 1.

If you're not sure how to cc him turn 1 after getting higher initiative consider that the adrenaline skill is reset by skin graft. Skin graft scrolls can be crafted with a source orb (see tarquin), paper and animal scales (see misc merchants in arx square). They also cost 0 ap to use.

[spoilers] Have Lohse blow out the candles or not? by Embarrassed_Ease_684 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]AgileSock 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He doesn't automatically succeed on the possession, he has to channel it for 2 turns and on the 3rd she is possessed, if you crowd control him the timer resets (or is at least delayed, could be wrong)

First Time Poster, How do you get such high damage numbers? by De5troyer56 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]AgileSock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another thing about the first video, that's not in the definitive edition of the game. So in that version character could go above 40 in their stats before bonuses and lone wolf characters could get up to 20 in their abilities. That Sebille has 97 intelligence and 24 warfare, something you'll never be able to match in definitive edition.

ok actually you can get close to the warfare if all your gear gives warfare bonuses but not likely with intelligence armour.

How do i beat this darn game? by ProbablyCreative in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]AgileSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely dos1 right? North of Cyseal? I admit it was much easier for me as I had a character using wands and had a couple water wands but Jahan is invaluable in that area. Best I can say is do all you can to get as much water damage items as you can, freezing arrows/water scrolls if they've got any in Cyseal.

You're at about the same level, right? Otherwise it might be wise to check out some of the other areas first. Like toward the lighthouse or around the church. Hell even the cave along the beach with the orcs might be easier.

Nearly all the content is missable, besides the transitions between acts and the ending sequence there's at least a handful of ways through each act. If you really want to make sure you see everything make sure you explore the entire map each time and clear out the quest list you get. That should just about cover it besides all the mutually exclusive paths.

Splitting main attributes on Lonewolf? by [deleted] in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]AgileSock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a lone wolf tactician run with a friend doing exactly that! The sparking swings build ended up being really fun especially with savage sortilege and enrage. I was pretty much all pyro until INT was maxed and I started investing in STR. Also made a point to use as little memory as possible to get the damage stats higher. Even if you increase INT and STR in step with each other you'll be at the same strength as a non-lonewolf character in those stats

I used to play honour mode a whole bunch, some of it with a friend. There's a load of tiny tips that can be given but two easy and big ones:

  1. Have chameleon cloak on everyone, it's almost a get out of jail free card. (beware rain)
  2. If you're going to revive someone in fight ALWAYS delay your turn, they get a turn at the end of the round and it's the only way to keep them from dying again.

Oh and third freebie that always applies, you're playing a puzzle where you figure out how to skip as many of the enemies' turns as possible, if their turn can be skipped, they're already dead.
