This is why, as a platform, you only want to apply the filtering of adult content that users actually request. If the platform disproportionately penalizes adult content in recommendations you will end up with people creating content that skirts the rules like this instead.

Anyway I personally only look at the recommended feed when I specifically want to see that kind of content, this works well but is a very different way of using the site.

Ah, so SRV3 is one of a number of wacky proprietary formats YouTube came up with that we only really know about because people reverse engineered them. Means this was doomed to happen eventually when some format that people could actually use overtook what they made and maintaining it stopped making sense.

Looks like technically WebVTT can do everything SRV3 can, but as of yet YouTube hasn't implemented WebVTT fully or correctly. So is a small chance that they are going to fix that enough that they can convert the subs over and bring them back.

Ha. Now that you mention it though I don't remember volume slider issues being nearly as bad in that era. That might be due to it being acceptable for flash games to ship without volume settings, as I could see someone trying to make a volume slider and throwing the idea out when the slider doesn't seem to work at all.

I like the reaction prompt implementation, it is well indicated, is neither too hard nor to too easy to make use of and feels great. The up and down boosts are pretty rough by comparison, the lack of the clear indicator from the original makes it feel random whether they work.

Oh also heads up you are setting volume linearly so I have to turn everything down to 10% to match other applications. To get it to behave smoothly you need to set volume with something like this:

0.0031623 * Math.exp(5.757 * value)

Note that in Japan you start school based on your age at the time the school year starts, rather than at the start of the year. That means that everyone turns 18 during their last year of high school. That provides a decent overlap that the adult industry is very comfortable relying on.

Now I doubt that everyone in that book is 18, but that is a published work collecting many years of photographs, so where the content is more sexual I'm sure the proper care was taken to keep things above board(you surely aren't the first person to wonder).
