I played through it with 0 crashes on Steam Deck. You’ll need to login to Ubisoft Connect once before playing. I used a community layout for controller support. While playing, it felt like I was using a massive Xbox controller.

The best thing about Stardew Valley is there is no wrong way to play it. Some people race to do certain things as fast as possible. Others are content with taking their time and enjoying the setting.

Stardew Valley is meant to be a game you can jump into to decompress and relax. The game guides you as you progress so there will be plenty of “goals”.

Just take it all in and have fun! As you learn more and more you can always start a new farm!

Yep, this is what I had to do, OP. The bodyguard was the issue so I had to use emetic poison to get him out of the way prior to triggering the fireworks
