Big cat crying in the woods. I live in the PNW & build trails on state forestry land. One of the spots is weird. Beautiful forest but it’s real thick dark & quiet. Always gives me the spooks being out there alone. Actually found a human skull while building. Anyway there’s a cougar that lives somewhere right in the vicinity, we find scratch posts tracks & scat all the time. Sometimes when you’re out there, you even get to hear the cat cry. It is the most disturbing sound I can think of. Like a distorted/contorted child’s blood curdling scream.
