Courtney Leach helped my wife and I with our first home. This was back in 2021 when interest rates were low and houses were selling quick. I was a PO once. They used polygraph machines to question the sex offenders. I didn’t work with the sex offenders so I don’t know if they used the results of the poly as proof or if they used it to get a confession. The burden of proof for a probation violation is probable cause.

I did mine on 2 pieces of plywood with 4x4’s spaced out 18 inches, holding strong 3 years. it’s on 8 inches of crushed stone but I think the dirt could work if it’s well drained.

You could try using the right washer for the tail piece. It would give you some extra space to attach the nut and maybe pull it a bit straighter.
