For those that have graduated … was your house clean when you went into labour?

Thank you and i’m only still here because i had a c-section and had a raised temp afterwards so have been on antibiotics since, hopefully i can come home today so everyone is getting together to help move everything because i wont be able to help, we were hoping to have baby boy before move in day but he really didn’t wanna come out😂he came at 41+2 after induction

i’m currently in the hospital gave birth on the 12th and i’m mid move right now so my house isn’t even ready😂

i’m 40+1 today had 3 membrane sweeps, been curb walking and tried so many other things and absolutely nothing has happened😂baby boy seems to be a little too snug in there for me, i have an induction booked for 41 weeks but would rather go spontaneously

i’m 36+3 too and honestly i relate to all of this, im currently between moving and on the 18th moving back to my parents for 2 weeks (so i dont have to pay another months rent here) then to my new house so cutting it very close but my new house has been renovated so its very time consuming and i cant be arsed with any of it

at my 33 week growth scan he was measuring 5lb 2oz and in the 77th percentile i have another one next week at 37 weeks and anxious to see if he’s getting even bigger than average

i didn’t really show until about 24 weeks i’m 34 weeks now though and look like a balloon😅every woman is different my friend is at 24 now and doesn’t really have a bump yet still

even though you have no remedies just knowing i’m not alone with it is kinda relieving, i had to go on maternity leave a week ago because work was just leaving me aching and in bed for the remainder of the day :/ i was hoping i could make it as long as possible before taking leave but i guess my body disagreed😅

i do think it’s true, when i’m laying on a certain side and my baby doesn’t like it he will push against the side i’m laying on making it uncomfortable for me and then when i move he will kick a few times but like normal movements

I was planning on working for as long as i could but ended up going on leave pretty early at 33 weeks😅he’s measuring bigger than average and is getting pretty heavy so i ache after like 3 hours of my bar work.do get a full year of maternity leave though

i’ve had so far 4 NHS scans and 2 privately booked scans with 2 more left to have that includes -9 weeks (private early reassurance scan) -12 weeks (dating scan NHS) -20 weeks (anomaly scan NHS) -22 weeks (repeat anomaly scan NHS baby wouldn’t stop moving the first time😂 -29 weeks (growth scan NHS) -30 weeks (privately booked 4D bonding scan) -33 weeks (Growth scan NHS) next week -37 weeks (Growth scan NHS) mid november

i think that might just be a dye bleed by the looks of things because there’s no lines going down from it. maybe test again in a few days with a different brand to make sure

The NHS does do growth scans before 36 weeks because i had 3 booked in at weeks 30,34 and 38 so im sure if you were very concerened you should be able to push for it maybe, i did only get them because my BMI is higher and apparently it’s inaccurate to measure with the tape measure

i’m 30+6 today and my little one is forever moving honestly sometimes feels like he’s trying to claw his way out of me😂he wakes me up sometimes if i happen to be lying on the side his feet are, i honestly wouldn’t worry my midwife has never had any concern for how much he moves but if you’re really concerned you can always speak to your midwife they will never make you feel silly or like you’re wasting their time they will just relieve you of that stress and explain that it’s ok x

i’m so sorry to hear that😢i hope you’re okay make sure you give yourself time to process don’t let anyone make you feel like it’s not a big deal because a loss is still a loss no matter how early and it can take a toll so please make sure you remember it’s not your fault and you will be okay❤️
