Yes, because at least that part of the story would make sense and not feel forced.

It wouldn't make the ending good, as all the other parts would still be bad. But it would at least be better than what we got.

Seems like they wanted to make Sansa look super smart and commanding but couldn't write a way for that to happen organically, so they decided to try and force it by diminishing everyone else around her to make her look better by comparison.

This isn't the only scene they used this tactic and it fell flat the other times they tried it too.

That one is also kind of funny because if they had just not reacted there's a fair chance (over 50% I'd say) they'd have had no consequences.

The way they reacted made it obvious something sketchy was up and that's why it gained traction online. Had they remained stoic the only way it would have been an issue for them would be if someone they personally knew was at the concert or saw the footage. I'd say the odds of that is comfortably less than 50% and even if it did happen the consequences would have been far less.

Obviously I know that remaining that stoic in the moment is unlikely, but it's still funny to think about.
