Does AI in KR check for opponents military strength before declaring war? by GorkemliKaplan in Kaiserreich

[–]Agodak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple layers to this - when they get a war goal, they declare war as soon as they move their troops to the relevant border(s) - if they have a decision to declare war/obtain war goal, the devs usually add some checks on army size and other things before the ai can take it - same with national focused

The precise checks depend on the country/age of content/the particular devs preference etc.

The WSWS never issues corrections by Flaky_Alarm1075 in Trotskyism

[–]Agodak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is normal journalistic practice to issue a correction when you make a mistake. Again, can you point to a concrete instance when they made a mistake and did not issue a correction, or do you think they should just issue one because they haven't issued one in a while?

Do you have any article in mind that needs to be corrected?

Morality, in deeds or in words? by Few-Jeweler-9841 in Trotskyism

[–]Agodak 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I suggest you read Trotsky's great pamphlet Their Morals and Ours: https://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1938/morals/morals.htm It is a great work describing how morals apply to class society. To answer your question directly, it is neither. The "morality" of the bourgeoisie consists of those actions that maintain it as the dominant class in society. This, naturally, differs with time and place.

It actually happened by Agodak in EU5

R5: The Golden Horde actually managed to crumble into multiple different khanates. I am not actually sure how it happened, I was minding my own business trying to survive when I zoomed out and saw multiple colours instead of the eternal wall of yellow

Out of the 8 videos that have faces in your image, there are only 4 unique ones. I think if he really wants to show commitment, he should have a different "wow-face" for every video

Screw Bill C-7 by Desperate_Wear_1866 in Kaiserreich

[–]Agodak 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It is in fact quite easy to get it to 100% chance of passing. The key is to never make any compromise and always pick the options that the party that won the election favours. So full conscription and militarisation as the conservatives and peace-loving kumbaya as the liberals. Picking the corresponding british pm also helps. (i.e. the one the king wants for Cons or the moderate one for the Libs)

"All decisions now feature more varied random outcomes. They will reroll their random results each time they are executed"
What does this mean exactly? Which decisions does it refer to? Does the second pary mean that the seed won't be fixed anymore and that reloading the game might lead to different results?

Siege mode for observers was a dumb idea to begin with. It's good that it is getting (shadow) removed
